I had a wonderful Mother’s Day! Yes, it was freezing and yes it was not an ideal day to go on a WNY animal safari tour.
However, I had a daily deal coupon that was expiring soon for Hidden Valley Animal Adventure and so we went regardless of the weather.
Above all, our experience was excellent. As my husband says, “it exceeded my expectations” and I completely agree. In my opinion, going on the Hidden Valley Animal Adventure is a definite must-do for any Western New Yorker!
Here are the up close and personal pictures I took on our WNY animal safari tour today.
What a shot of these bison!
The tour included a cup of grain to feed the animals. If you end up running out of feed, additional cups are available for purchase. My kids loved feeding the animals!
I couldn’t believe how close the animals got!
In addition to feeding the animals, we got a close up of many different things. From the texture of their fur to the scratch marks across their hide. It was incredible to have such an experience.
Oh my gosh, the cuteness. I can’t even take it!
Unfortunately, my phone died about halfway through, so I didn’t even get pictures of all the animals we had seen!
Above all, we had a great time and I would definitely recommend putting this on your things-to-do list if you live in the Buffalo or Rochester, New York area.
And if you are visiting the area, definitely put this WNY animal safari tour on your travel itinerary if you have the time for it!
