There is a great way to save money at Tops Markets and I believe you will enjoy this awesome app! In this article, I will explain how to use the Flashfood App, now available at Tops.
So what is Flashfood?
Flashfood is an app that not only helps us save money on groceries but it helps grocery stores reduce waste by offering food items near their best by date at a deep discount. It is only available in select markets and Tops Markets is now testing the program at some of its stores. If it is not yet available in your area, the company has plans to expand so be sure to keep an eye out!
I have been able to test out the Flashfood app and think this will be an awesome tool to help us all save money on our groceries at Tops.
Curious to try it out for yourself? Sign up for the Flashfood app here and use my referral code CHRI2MXQ3 under “Redeem A Code”. You’ll get $8 in credit (and I will get a discount, too).
How do you use Flashfood?
First, you will need to download and install the Flashfood app. It is available in Apple iTunes and Google Play.
Next, click the person icon in the upper left-hand corner and then click “Earn Money”. Under that menu option, click the “Redeem a code” button and enter CHRI2MXQ3.
Then on the main menu, choose your local grocery store from the map.
Browse the available deals and then add the items you want to your cart. You can find anything from baked goods to produce boxes to fresh meat!
Once you are done shopping, proceed to checkout. You pay right online for your items using a credit or debit card.
Once you have paid, you will see you have an order under the “pickups” tab. Head to the store as soon as possible to pick up your order at Customer Service.
How Much Money Does the Flashfood app save you?
I have found most of the items to be discounted 50% or more off retail.
What foods can you find on Flashfood?
You can find meat, dairy items, boxes of produce, baked goods, and even pantry items on Flashfood. The selection will vary daily and by store. Therefore if you see something you want, be sure to purchase it and pick it up from the store as soon as possible.
Before I head out to Tops, I like to quickly check the Flashfood app just to see if there are any items available at my store that I would be interested in grabbing at a discount. It has been a great way to save even more on our weekly grocery bill!
So are you ready to try out the Flashfood app? Remember, go through my referral link here, then add promo code CHRI2MXQ3 and you will receive a FREE $5 credit after you make your first purchase of $10 or more!
