First I hulled and washed the fresh strawberries I picked with the kids:
I then chopped them up in quarters. I also chopped up some banana and kiwi.
I separated the fruit adding kiwi to one batch. I then froze them in quart-sized Ziploc bags overnight. I laid the bags as flat as possible in the freezer to avoid the fruit freezing in big chunks.
This morning we made great-tasting smoothies that we all loved! I took one of the freezer bags out, dumped the frozen fruit into my Tupperware Quik Chef, added 1 cup 2% milk, 1/2 cup whipped cream (I didn’t have yogurt otherwise I’d use that), and a bit of sugar. The kiwis were tart so it needed a bit of sweetness. Yum!
