If you’re looking for an idea for your family’s summer vacation, consider Hershey Park, PA. There are many things to do and enjoy at Hershey Park, making it a popular vacation choice. There are shows, shops, dining, and even ZooAmerica.

One of the best parts of Hershey Park is the rides. There are so many to choose from that there is sure to be something for everyone. Let’s take a look at the categories and some of the best rides to enjoy.

Here are some of the best rides at Hershey Park:

Roller Coasters

If you love the thrill of roller coasters, Hershey Park has many for you to choose from. There’s the Cocoa Cruiser, Comet, Laff Trakk, Great Bear, sooperdooperLooper, Sidewinder, and the Storm Runner to name a few.

The Cocoa Cruiser is a fun family coaster that allows everyone to enjoy a ride. The Comet is a classic wooden coaster with quick turns and drops. Laff Trakk is an indoor, spinning, glow track. It’s the first of its kind in the US. Great Bear is a looping, inverted coaster. It’s high, it’s fast, and it will get your adrenaline pumping.

There are 15 coasters to choose from. Your biggest question is going to be which to ride first.

Boardwalk and Water Rides

What’s better on summer vacation than a water park? Hershey Park has a water park built inside with tons of water rides to choose from, and admission is included with your regular ticket.

Some of our favorites are the Coastline Plunge Surge and Riptide, The Coal Cracker, and the Waverider. You can also enjoy yourself at The Shore if you want to swim or play around at Sandcastle Cove, which is great for the little ones.

Kiddie Rides

There is no shortage of great rides for the younger crowd, too. Some you can ride together, and there are numerous other rides for the young park visitors such as Balloon Flite, Minty Bees, Frog Hopper, Granny Bugs, Mini Scrambler, Dizzy Drums, and Pony Parade. There are more than 20 kiddie rides at the park for your little ones to enjoy.

Now that you know which rides to check out, you’re ready to plan a trip to Hershey Park. It’s even better if you can get the 2-day pass, so you have more time to really check out all that there is to see and do at this top-rated park.
